As the daughter of two bankers and the sister of a civil engineer, once I decided to pursue a career in design, I knew I was diving into uncharted waters. I strive to tell the story behind a brand identity, a promotional campaign, or any aspect of a project that I encounter. I have learned to keep my mind open to all possibilities, because you never know when a great idea may strike, and you may uncover the true potential of a design.

On a personal note, a fun night for me is staying home with friends playing video games and board games. I have always loved mysteries and solving puzzles, probably from playing the Nancy Drew PC Games with my mom growing up. I love all animals, even cats, despite being allergic to them. Finally, while I may be a more reserved person, that does not stop me from voicing my ideas and reaching out to others to make sure they feel a part of the team.

Amanda Hernandez

As an empathetic and creative designer, I thoroughly enjoy diving into the research and gaining invaluable insights before designing a project. My field of interest is "design for social good." To me, it is equally vital bringing awareness to others about global problems such as poverty, global warming, and mental health issues as much as it is solving them using my skills in brand identity, motion, and promotional design. When I am not telling stories (some from clients, my own, and who knows—maybe yours), I am most likely doodling or admiring the beauty of nature. I have been the recipient of a McNair Scholar and consider myself an amateur pianist and a decent cook. Most importantly, I am a determined dreamer. My goal in life is to create impactful changes for my loved ones, community, and the world. I sincerely believe that empathy drives good design, and in today's world, I think there is plenty of room for some more good—don't you?

Kamal Patel

A motion-based storyteller with a passion for photography. I excel in the design skills of brand identity, motion design, typography, and art direction.

Growing up in a family where my father owned a printing press opened up the world of design for me at an early age. It was by volunteering at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir (Temple) in Edison, NJ did I first get experience at designing, problem-solving, and developing my creativity. Under the guidance of my Guru, Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Mahant Swami Maharaj, I learned to be a team player, a leader, and a manager of projects and people.
