Stains are often made while out and about; eating out at a restaurant, while on holiday or during work. Since time is usually of the essence when removing stains, having access to a stain remover is a good idea but being away from home means not much can be done about a stain on your clothes, and in turn creating unnecessary added stress you don't want to have as well as potentially leaving you with a stain for the rest of the day.

Being in your own home you have access to detergents and stain remover to get rid of unwanted stains but this not being the case while out. Portable stain removing pens are already on the market but designed to be an impulsive buy, no effort is put into making an effective treatment for removing the stain and potentially making one worse.

The idea started while eating in a restaurant on holiday and getting sauce stains on my white shirt. At this point nothing could be done about it but after returning home and putting it in the wash I couldn't stop thinking there could be a solution for removing the stain at the time. Even after washing the shirt the stain never fully went.
