The founders of VARIA are intimately familiar with the pains of urban living—the frequent moves, narrow stairwells, and tiny studio apartments. To ease some of these frustrations, they have created a new system that brings furniture up to speed with our increasingly compact, mobile lifestyles.

VARIA is a 6-piece furniture collection can be mixed and matched to provide over 25 uses for the home. Ranked as one of Kickstarter's "Projects We Love", this set is designed to come apart and go back together with no tools.

This collection is powered by a few common dimensions shared by many household objects. A stool is the same height as the legs of a desk. A coffee table is often the same height as the seat of a chair. A full-length mirror is the same length as a queen-sized headboard, which happens to also be the same size as the average kitchen table top. These dimensional relationships allowed us to create a simple kit of parts that can be used to build nearly any piece of furniture found in a typical home.

Made of fully-welded, powder-coated steel frames and solid hardwood, these pieces are designed to last for years, and adapt to any home arrangement.We hope that this collection will help creative people unlock their own resourcefulness and invent personalized solutions for their own spaces.
