Breezeye is an eye drop bottle design that makes the experience of applying eye drops easy and smooth. With an aiding feature integrated into the bottle, Breezeye allows all users to apply eye drops comfortably and gracefully, whenever and wherever. This project seeks a fundamental question in the field of universal design: How to design products usable by as many people as possible?

Not all people are capable of applying eye drops by themselves, especially for the elderly who are less skilled with coordination and dexterity. The eye drop bottle, as one of the most ubiquitous objects, has not really been universally designed since the day it was invented. Applying eye drops is neither an easy or pleasant experience for many of people.
With a soft supporting part on the center, Breezeye visually instructs users to rest it on the nose bridge, enabling users to point the eye drop bottle to their eyes naturally and precisely. Additionally, Breezeye removes the need of looking at the tip of the eye drop bottle, in which users will feel more secure by solely relying on tactile control of the bottle. Psychologically, Breezeye reduces fear and shock to some extent.
The compact form of Breezeye makes it handy to carry around. With a clicking mechanism, the cap will stay secure, either tucked in a pocket or buried in a bag. The elegant aiding feature doesn't amplify the clumsiness of novice users, but rather states intelligence and grace.
