MODU is a brand-new toy that allows children to build their own functional creations, promoting physical activity and stimulating their motor development throughout childhood.

MODU excels by being a one-of-a-kind concept, yet being highly recognizable in its main functional principle; a versatile play experience with the benefits of enhancing important physical milestones in multiple developmental stages and ages. The toy comprises tactile foam blocks, pins and wheels, and an endless source of explorative and creative builds of varying complexity, where only imagination is the limit, and where the whole body can be used for balancing, rolling, climbing, rocking, jumping or riding fun. Thus, MODU eliminates the need for multiple expensive and short-lived toys through its simple, fun and long-lasting nature.

Yes Modu and Imagination Playground have some similarities, we have also been in contact with them during the development phase. However, Modu have more assembly possibilities so you can build more combinations with fewer parts. Modu also includes functional wheels which enable the user to build rides, carts, push wagons etc. Besides Imagination Playground is made primarily for institutions and can only be purchased in very large packages, where Modu is also made for private families.

  Hi Theo, thanks for that. I do see the added functionality and it is nice to know this is a consumer product. I have been familiar with the Imagination Playground sets for a while and just noticed they look very similar in material and connection system.
