Möbel is a comfortable, attractive, and foldable seating system that makes the moving process much smoother. Möbel easily assembles and disassembles, so you won't have to worry about selling your furniture, or throwing it away, and having to buy a new one after you move. Instead, Möbel will move along with you wherever you go, and you don't need to worry about renting a big truck or calling friends to help you move it!

This unique chair for one or two people is made entirely from industrial felt. Layers of recycled felt are attached in staggered lines to create a honeycomb pattern, giving the form strength while allowing minimal material weight and cost. It is very lightweight with the fabric also operating as the structural frame simultaneously. It folds up easily for transport when it's time to move, a common occurrence among today's undergraduate and graduate student population as well as young professionals.

"Möbel" means "(singular) piece of furniture" in swedish. It might be a nod to IKEA given their naming strategy.
As for the piece itself: I don't think this solves anything. Either it will start to sag down with use and then it will be less foldable and eventually break down (and thus thrown away). Or, if they manage to use stiff enough felt to repeatedly support the weight of a grown, up it will be like sitting on a set of tubes. Not my idea of comfort.
The average student housing isn't that large so you won't get much furniture before it is filled. If you buy furniture for it, either buy cheap (if possible second hand) that you can give away if you don't want to take it with you, or buy good, lasting stuff that you will bring with you. I'd rather have a comfortable chair for the time I am living in the place than an uncomfortable, easy to move one for the rare occasions when I need to move.
I'm not convinced this solves any real problems. I like the design, but framing this project "so you won't have to worry about selling your furniture, or throwing it away, and having to buy a new one after you move." seems misplaced. Just because it folds doesn't mean you won't try to sell it or throw it away, and owning a folding chair has nothing to do with buying habits of furniture when moving into a new space. Also, felt and glue doesn't seem like materials of construction that are chosen for long life, so I suspect that these chairs will be thrown away pretty often regardless of what they are billed as.
