NATEDE is a smart natural air purifier for any home or office. It is a specifically designed flowerpot that combines common plants with technology to purify indoor air. Plants are naturally able to eliminate pollutants. The photocatalytic filter inside NATEDE—which does not need to be replaced—works to eliminate viruses and bacteria.
The combination of photocatalysis with the design and technology of NATEDE significantly improves the plants' purification power. NATEDE improves indoor pollution, which is five times higher than outdoor pollution. The devicde features five sensors that let users monitor the air quality with a dedicated app.

NATEDE has an innovative filtration system that amplifies phytoremediation, a plant's ability to purify air.The filtering system is characterized by a double pot, designed to enhance airflow, and a technological heart that substantially increases the flow of the air through the roots of the plant. Thanks to the microorganisms in the soil around the roots, the harmful substances in the air are converted into nourishment for the plan, generating clean air.
NATEDE combines phytoremediation with an additional filtration process called photocatalysis. Photocatalysis is a natural process in which light strikes a mineral (titanium dioxide - TiO2), activating a chemical reaction that securely and instantaneously oxidizes and decomposes organic matter at the molecular level.
NATEDE is green and sustainable: it is made of bioplastic and it does not use harmful glues. It is able to be completely disassembled, and all of the parts arerecyclable at the end of their lifecycle.
The five sensors inside NATEDE accurately measure and detecttemperature & humidity, pollutants (VOCs), fine-particulates (PM2.5),carbon monoxide (CO) andcarbon dioxide (CO2).
NATEDE features an intuitive LED interface that pulses at different speeds depending on the air quality. The NATEDE mobile app allows users to monitor the air in their space and shows real-time monitoring of the indoor air quality. It is also possible to get a detailed breakdown of the monitored pollutants. NATEDE can connect to other smart home devices, such as Amazon Echo and Google Home.
NATEDE features a self-watering system, which helps to further reduce water consumption and to keep plants alive while on the move or on long holidays. Its water tank can give water to plants for about a month.
As we spend 90% of our time indoors, the quality of the air we breathe at home or at the office is of paramount importance. For people who suffer from asthma and allergies, the NATEDE natural air purifier is a great ally to breathe clean air and improve their health.

I hope they put more time into studying the technology in this flower pot than they did proofreading their article. I also doubt that this pot has a significant effect on the number of bacteria/viruses floating in a house at any given time. Just because an item does something on a small scale doesn't mean it creates a noticeable effect in the grand scheme of things. You could advertise a small bucket that is useful forbailing water, but I doubt it would make a difference if a cruise ship is going down.
