Also, what happens when the lead is going shorter and the magnet is under your fingers? Another thing, pretty important for illustrators and calligraphy artists - balance. Here, the balance is going to change all the time....
This isn't a pencil, it's called a lead holder and they've been around forever. Google it, I'll wait.
