FLEKS3D Build Plate makes 3D Printing easier, with a higher success rate and smoother workflow.

FLEKS3D is an add-on compatible with any desktop 3D printer (FFM). FLEKS3D makes 3D printingeasierwith a higher success ratewhile also providing a smoother workflow. FLEKS3D works by releasing the print with a single flex of the plate. The part simply pops off—no more damaged prints, scraping and cut fingers. The product also makes for higher success rateswith a proprietary texture that grabs the first layer and keeps it in place, so there's no longer a need for blue tape or hairspray.

Born from a passion for 3D Printing, FLEKS3D was created by two professional Industrial Designers to solve the problems with many new desktop 3D Printers. After working together on some product development for Kikkerland Design, Viktor and Peter decided to launch FLEKS3D. Viktor had been developing and testing the idea for a few months. Once Peter came in they expanded the offering and sourced domestic production. "We knew we had a great product straightaway" said Peter.

The idea started with a concept to get the parts off of the 3D Printer build plate easier to prevent damaged prints and injury. They finally discovered they could also solve other issues that persist with desktop 3D Printing, problems like getting the parts to stick and changing plates without having to level the plate every time.

The need for this product was made clear when FLEKS3D's first Kickstarter campaign raised over $10k and had backers from all over the world. Luckily since both Peter and Viktor are veterans of product design and development, they were able to produce and deliver on time (a rarity for Kickstarter campaigns).

After a year of steady growth working on FLEKS3D as a part time project, Peter and Viktor are dedicating themselves fully to the future of this project. They just launched their new Kickstarter with more options for different 3D Printers and more affordable models.
