Do you ever struggle to disconnect from your smartphone when relaxing at home? We designed the Ingrein Smart Clock after realizing that we had become tethered to our smartphones, but that the constant connection was preventing us from relaxing at home, enjoying a good book or having deep uninterrupted, conversations over dinner. We wanted a product that would help us cut out the constant distractions that over-connectivity generates, while making sure we didn’t miss out on anything important.

The Ingrein Smart Clock is just that, a hardwood internet-connected clock that keeps you informed without the distractions. Most of the time, the Ingrein Smart Clock will display the time and weather forecast, but when something important is happening, it will alert you via light, sound, and digital notifications. It does this in a thoughtful, not annoying way, and you have full control over what notifications from which apps you want to be informed about.

The Ingrein Smart Clock is constructed from premium reclaimed woods, such as mahogany and cedar, that were salvaged from the scrap pile. We wrote the software, and designed the electronics and wood body from scratch to provide a seamless user experience. We are eager to start helping people be more present in their lives.
