The inspiration of this piece is the natural self-healing process observed in trees. Once the tree is injured, it bleeds and encloses the wound. This principle of healing is translated in furniture production by "mending" a broken piece of wood with a novel, form-filling ecoresin. Each piece is crafted from broken hardwood and has been lovingly and uniquely hand-sorted, hand-poured and hand-cut.
