In the not so distant future, almost everyone will be growing some of their own food at home. With a beautiful soil-less growing system and greenhouse for your window, anyone can grow and enjoy food that is fresh and clean.

The Cloud Farms products were designed to make indoor growing incredibly easy in a small space.

Nimbus, a soil-less growing system, is clean and minimal; a rounded metal and glass tower only 5.5 inches in diameter that feeds nutrient rich water up to porcelain pots. Seeds are planted into a fibrous material called "rockwool", where leafy greens and herbs develop into full plants in as little as 6-8 weeks.

A typical schedule for refilling the 3-liter glass reservoir is once every two weeks, and when you do refill, the reservoir can be removed from the tower for easy cleaning and filling in your sink. Every Nimbus comes with two pots for growing called Droplet. Each Droplet is cast in porcelain and glazed white with a rubber port for plugging into water lines.

Cloud Farms has also designed a small greenhouse, called Biome, that fits right into a window; installing just like an air conditioner. The clear polycarbonate body protrudes out into the air, maximizing the amount of natural light for your plants to grow. Biome truly is a breakthrough alternative to using high powered growing lights for indoor plants.

Bradley started Cloud Farms as a thesis project for the Master of Industrial Design program at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY in 2013. With prior experience designing products for manufacturing, and a passion for creating products with positive social impact, Bradley has been working to make Cloud Farms into a reality ever since.
