Have we made the cleanest looking belt the world has ever seen? It has always seemed a little loopy to us to have belt loops on our pants AND a keeper loop on our belt. While we were trying to get rid of the keeper loop, we wondered if we could also get rid of the belt buckle.

Boring Belt works like any other belt, but the hidden hook and magnets make it so you'll never have to wear all that clutter around your waist again. Boring Belt can be both casual and formal. It works with jeans and with a suit or dress.

It has always seemed a little loopy to us to have belt loops on our pants AND a keeper loop on our belt. Pants already have loops, but, if we want the belt to be used with all dresses, we had to figure something else out. Most belts are made of two pieces of leather that are glued together. We love magnets and use them wherever we can, so we embedded magnets between the two pieces of leather.

While we were trying to get rid of the keeper loop, we wondered if we could also get rid of the belt buckle. We wondered if we could put a hook on the underside of the belt. We did a lot of testing to come up with the right shape of hook/hole—and to make sure it was just as easy to put on and take off as a normal belt buckle would be.
