Braun Household came up with a question, what is a future of cooking? and we normally think automation and robotics, right? But the real future is different, the joy and the passion of cooking shouldn't be stolen from the person who's cooking, but to increase the efficiency and making the whole process light and conscious.

I started with the forecasting of the trends in the cooking and kitchen environment how the space will evolve in the future and how the users will interact with it. During research we found multiple developments on trends and on the basis of that we saw that the future of kitchen space is disappearing and so do the products are getting more harmonious with the environment. S Y 1 0 is designed to be harmonious and portable when in the future it's not just about the technology but also aesthetics. Its dual purpose helps to stay in use as wall clock when stored and as an induction when on the countertop. We also discovered another trend where users are living more in a conscious lifestyle. They are more decisive what to eat and when to eat and how much they consume. Other several concerns like indoor air quality and need for the better air filtration system compared to big noisy hoods inspired me to build the all-inclusive system. The Cylindrical Air filter features the curved backward airfoil fan with carbon filters which not only filters the air but also removes the odor. When you are using big pots on the induction you can just rotate the air filtration system using the smart dial.

Now coming to smart dial it's a new and intuitive way to precisely control the temperature, time, air filter and several other features. The top dial consist of mechanical tactile rotary dial for precision movements and bottom haptic feedback infinity surface makes it super quick to change between the menus or temperature. The bottom of dial is equipped with computer visioning camera which scans the raw solid food and lets you know the quality of the food on the screen of the dial weather its safe to eat or not, consume early or not good.

Its redefining the art of culinary cooking for the future where the technology meets aesthetics and innovation meets healthy choices.
