One of the biggest luxuries of today's time is eating fresh, organic and healthy food. We are a hydroponic farm solution startup based in India, striving to create sustainable, simplified and innovative farming solutions for urban farmers so that growing clean, healthy and residue-free vegetables can be accessible to all even with limited space. With hydroponics, we have taken one step further to develop uniquely designed, sustainable and aesthetic bamboo setups to reduce our plastic footprint as we believe that our solutions should be healthy for the environment too.
Our vision is to empower the lives of the urban communities through sustainable, affordable and innovative farming solutions.
Why bamboo? bamboo is an abundant, naturally robust and flexible material that makes it a perfect eco-friendly substitute to plastic when it comes to hydroponic farming. Moreover bamboo hydroponic setups add a touch of luxury to your space, being handcrafted out of natural material, it bridges the gap between modern technologies and traditional values.

The idea to build Farm Storey emerged with the personal struggle of having seen vegetables being irrigated with sewage water in the outskirts of Delhi and the pain of not being able to successfully grow vegetables in the limited space at home.
We wanted to explore the craft of bamboo basketry to create a functional setup for Hydroponic farming in order to build a bridge between traditional craft and modern technologies. Moreover, we wanted to minimise our plastic footprint in an industry which is full of products made of plastic.
After a long hunt, we zeroed on to Burmese bamboo species for their naturally straight poles with thin walls making them perfect to be used for hydroponics. Each bamboo was then treated with Vertical Diffusion System to ensure the longevity of the product.
To create a simplified hydroponic system with bamboo we wanted to create something that was both easy to manufacture and easy to transport. Hence, with the help of local artisans, we designed a system out of the basketry method that involves bamboo weaving which made the system light, stackable and versatile.
In this, we have developed separate units that can be stacked on top of each other to complete the assembly. Likewise, this system leaves room for vertical addition and empowers you to increase food production on a single system and enjoy 10X more crops than traditional farming
Functioning: The water is stored in the reservoir tank at the bottom, from which it is pumped to the top of the tower and falls back inside the tank through the holes, wetting all the roots in the way.
