The Float Planter is a self-watering plant pot that waters your plants through a cotton wick. Here's how it works: a floating cover hides the internal red pot from view. As the water level drops, so does the float - revealing the red rim when it's time for a refill.

Made from ceramic, the Float Planter has a beautiful matte finish and minimal form. The pot measures 6.5 inches in diameter and can hold plenty of water for weeks at a time. The soil is kept perfectly moist for most houseplants and herbs, making it ideal for those of us without green fingers!

Designer of the Float Planter Will Vickery says he "wanted to design something simple and fun, that pushed back against over-complicated electronic gardening gadgets and gizmos. The Float Planter tackles the problem of keeping houseplants alive, but without throwing electronics and software at the product."
