Plume’s Adaptive Wi-Fi got even better with several offerings to network your home with SuperPods. It needed a new packaging system to encompass an expanded portfolio of products. Working closely with both client and supplier, we designed the system to communicate the brand through a tactile and delightful experience. Having a premium Out-Of-Box-Experience (OOBE) was important, along with reducing costs and materials. We unified the packaging system by creating a flexible ‘network’ of packaging designs that provide a consistent language across the various SKUs. Smart details like printing the quick start guide on the accessory box, as well as presenting the SuperPod hardware like jewelry on a pillow of paper pulp surface – all elevated the consumer experience while meeting the constraints of production.
