Wolverine asked Sundberg-Ferar to redesign their flagship comfort technology, DuraShocks®. This technology features two compression pads that are located in the heel and forefoot. As a system they deliver shock absorption and return energy, providing the feel of an athletic shoe while maintaining the power and integrity of a work boot. SF provided assistance through concept exploration, concept refinement, 3D data creation and physical prototypes for use in the factory and as a sales tool.
