I've just returned from several days in Death Valley, which was just incredible.
Stay tuned, coverage is in the works.
Apparently not everyone shares my sentiments, on Death Valley or other national and natural treasures. Graphic designer Amber Share, going through Yelp reviews of U.S. National Parks, found plenty of one-star reviews with copy that beggars belief. As a gag, she decided to illustrate each park with quotes from the actual reviews:
I am so thankful I wasn't on the trip with people like these!
You can check out more on Share's Subpar Parks Instagram, and she's also selling stickers and postcards of the illustrations on her website.

An entitled brat like that has no business in the great outdoors. How can you be an artist / designer, and not appreciate the beauty of nature... even with all its wildness?
My parents took a few of their 9 year old grandkids on a road trip (IN to CA and back) and stopped at the Grand Canyon on the way back. Next day they woke up ready to hit the road again, and my nephew said, "So what day are we going to see the Grand Canyon?"
Acadia National Park is too dark at night. The seals are devious.
