I was required to use fountain pens in my grammar school; many of my clothes (and on some days, my fingers) had blue ink stains. I do agree that writing by hand definitely encourages a different quality of mind than typing. I personally favor the Pilot G-2 gel pens - I feel the need to tense up on most other rollerball pens and my penmanship suffers.
Probably not - but we did just add Blackwing Pencils!!
