Hacoa's $400 wooden keyboards weren't selling so well, so the company has adopted an Ikea-like tactic: lower the price by redesigning it so the user puts it together at home. The new models are 25% cheaper and will go on sale later this month in Japan. Here's to hoping you don't get splinters.
