Yesterday's post on flashlights covered well-designed versions of the rod-style torch; today we take a look at Streamlight's Sidewinder, which has a more decidedly military bent and is designed in an entirely different form factor. Design features include a 185-degree rotating head, a pull-to-turn locking rotary color selector knob that can be used with gloves on, and battery polarity indicators that make it easy to change the batteries in the dark.
