So that SpotMini robot we showed you that can open doors? Boston Dynamics is now at the testing phase where they send a guy to harass it with a hockey stick and a strap, apparently hoping to rattle the thing into quitting:
For chrissakes, why can't they teach these things to give up on their dreams, like real people?

There should be a self-defense protocol where the Robot turns around and bites the guy on the ass.
This is a future nightmare, imagine seeing a cute dog arriving at you in the park and you decide to gently pet him but suddenly a freaking snake-ish head comes out to stole you something or to make a satisfaction survey about the park facilities or EVEN worse, undesirable publicity
Why does EVERYTHING from Boston Dynamics have to scare me?
