Last night served up a generous cornucopia of parties and openings to choose from. The Design Blogfest party at The Apartment in SoHo was packed like a can of sardines--even with an eager, yet patient, crowd waiting in line to join in. Judy Hoysak's Indoor Vegetable Furniture (mad props to Judy on her rocking the Coroflot portfolio!) was displayed in the front display window.
Haute Green kicked off their exhibit with a wall-to-wall jammed extravaganza as well. This time taking place in Flatiron (not Brooklyn), eco-conscious works and wares were displayed in every nook and cranny of an elegant and impressively- sized venue. (It was still shoulder to shoulder with a boisterous and plentiful crowd.) It was so hoppin' in there you could barely check out the curated collection of over 70 pieces on display!
After the 9-10 PM close-out of NY Design Week's first night of parties, we decided to have our own after-party shindig over at Botanica in SoHo. Needless to say, we were keepin' it real with this place also swarming with a hearty helping of the evening's night owl party-goers.
More pics after the jump!
