The "S" Hinge

I know it's hard to get excited about a hinge, but Japanese cell phone manufacturer Kyocera's latest (on the E5000) is pretty slick. Some clever marketer has dubbed it the "S" hinge.

Kyocera's also got some PR copy up here. Excerpt:

â€œ...The focus on organic elements in nature and attention to detail prevalent in Japanese culture will be reflected in the design of our products..."
