This is pretty cool: A collapsible screen that works sort like a softbox on a photography light. SPUD (Spontaneous Pop-Up Display) breaks down to the size of a book, and can be expanded to become a monitor:
The device reportedly weighs less than two pounds, has a 1280 x 720 resolution and a battery that will last for four hours. The projection unit puts out from 100 to 225 lumens and connects to your computer via an HDMI port.
It should be launching any day now on Kickstarter. We'll have more details then.
