Today I'm showing a simple concept sketch technique using just three drawing tools: a Bic ballpoint pen, a Sharpie, and a white Prismacolor pencil. I use this technique on products that have a strong material contrast story. It really shows off part breaks well. The subject here is a men's razor. Give it a watch and let me know what you think. If you have any questions about what I did, or have any suggestions for future videos, just let me know in the comments below below!
Yo! C77 Sketch is a monthly video series from Core77 forum moderator and prolific designer, Michael DiTullo. In these tutorials, DiTullo walks you through step by step rapid visualization and ideation techniques to improve your everyday skills. Tired of that guy in the studio who always gets his ideas picked because of his hot sketches? Learn how to beat him at his own game, because the only thing worse than a bad idea sketched well is a great idea sketched poorly.

Great Video!
Dang it! Great video!
Thanks Juan. Glad you enjoyed it. I'll be trying to make one a month, each with a different technique and/or subject/object.
