Akron Art Museum expansion
Coop Himmelblau's current Akron Art Museum expansion project is the result of their winning entry from the museum's call for designs a few years back. PSFK snagged a peek over the holidays and took some nice snapshots, revealing the intense juxtaposition of olde and neue. This 20 million dollar expansion began in June, 2004 and is scheduled to open this coming summer.
