This guy lathed 256 Crayola crayons into a weird little vase and it's making me reconsider my monochromatic lifestyle and clean shop policies.
After soothingly sorting enough crayons to blow an elementary schooler's mind, he melts them to build up a pretty impressive brick of waxy color. The lathing (like all lathing) is hypnotic, and his technique for leveling the finished vase gets a solid A+.
Would I recommend doing this in your own shop? Absolutely. But only if you're not bothered by dousing yourself in sticky colorful chips that probably outstay their welcome as fast as glitter.

I think when you wrote "lathing" you mean turning... lathing is the process of applying lath (like in plaster walls)
