A disturbing stat plucked from a NYT article recites that "91 percent of adults said they washed their hands after using a public restroom, but real world observers found that only 83 percent actually did." Barf. With tons of crazy germazoids out there like E. Coli, Salmonella, and your standard cold and flu, we've entered an era of paranoid power-sanitation. The above image shows a personal subway strap on the left and HYSO, a disinfectant-dispenser for public restroom door handles, on the right. The article also mentions the Excuse Me Flag which we posted a while back. The flag is worn on the body and sways back and forth while walking, as to give you a cubic yard of personal space and keeping you a cubic yard away from any potential germ-infested dirtbags in the surrounding area. I highly recommend you check out the video again cuz it rocks so much!
