Bang & Olufsen Medicom and AstraZeneca AB are collaborating to develop Helping Hand, a stylish and discrete patient device that monitors medication intake. The device is customizable for any medication and reminds and motivates the patient to take their meds on a timely basis. Bluetooth technology allows for efficient uploads and transmission of patient data for a physician to monitor and record.
