From Auckland, New Zealand, ID student Tim Lee snagged first place in our Workspace Challenge Photo Contest. While Lee's shop was nowhere near as dense as fourth-place winner Mark Roberts', Lee's clean presentation and clear labeling makes his workspace instantly comprehensible, and clarity counts for a lot! We're also digging his DIY ceiling-mounted articulated camera dolly rig.

My name is Tim Lee. I am from Auckland, New Zealand, and this is my workshop!
I am currently studying industrial design, but I also love woodworking. I also video some of my projects and put them on YouTube (my channel is Last Minute Thoughts). I have converted my one car garage into a workshop (half of which is full of junk). I made most of it from scratch, including my own table saw.
This is my main workstation where I keep all my frequently used tools out where it is easy to see and easy to grab. My overhead tool storage holds my power tools and things to go with them, and right in front of the workbench is all my hand tools. most of the tools, mainly the chisels, screw drivers, files etc. are hung with magnets to make it super easy to grab. Those things on top of the overhead storage are yoghurt containers that I use to keep various bits in.
Underneath my workbench is where I store most of my hardwoods and other small pieces. To the right of the workbench is my dust collector which I made from an older vacuum cleaner and a soda bottle to act as a dust separator.
This is my homemade table saw. One of my very first projects when I started woodworking. It is one of the most useful things I've built. I keep my push stick hanging at the front so it can easily grab it when I'm making a cut, and i keep my sleds and guides close by as well.
I have attached a track that goes along the support beam in the ceiling for my camera that I use to make YouTube videos. Having it come from above means I don't need to worry about using a tripod and tripping over it, and it also lets me have birdseye shots which is pretty cool.
And that's my workshop! It's a very simple and small setup but its perfect for me. It will slowly grow as I make more things for it, and that's all part of the fun. Hope you like it!

Ugh, there's like nothing good about this "shop." Come on Core77...
It's all great, but the real take-away for me is the ceiling-mounted camera boom. I'll be copying that idea at some point. Thanks for sharing, Tim!
