As the sole office space submission in our Workspace Challenge, Third Prize goes to upstart architecture firm Purple Studio over in New Delhi. Seeing their entry reminds us that much of the design work that shapes our surroundings takes place within clean, rectilinear rooms lit by LEDs.

We are Deepti Bansal & Joaquim C. Rodrigues, a/k/a Purple Studio, a young architectural practice startup based out of New Delhi, India.
It's been a year since we moved into our current workspace. Our aim while creating our work space was to let our work environment evolve with our practical needs and usage. Hence no space was designated with a particular function.
It's an architect's office so spaces tend to pile up with paper and documents but none the less it is an organized chaos. It's an open office so anyone can walk straight up to our workspaces and initiate a discussion. The tempo of the music changes as per the time of day to keep us going.
Sometimes our conference room converts into a mini theatre at the end of a hectic day.
Since we spend more than 10 hours a day in our workspace, we have carved out a small niche to make a pantry that is stashed with our late night cravings.
Around our workspace you will find unique objects/toys that we like collecting on our escapades, this sure keeps our visitors curiously occupied for a while.
