Starchase offers cops yet another way to maximize laziness. The device shoots an adhesive GPS homing dart onto the back of fleeing vehicles transforming the quintessential (and always exciting) "carchase" into a tracking session followed by calmer arrests (not worthy of TV show favorite Cops). Starchase is currently going under a 5 month trial period with the LAPD.

"Maximize Laziness?" The more and more core77 editorializes, the less and less it is regarded as a serious source for industrial design news. Can the editors keep their personal commentary in the comments? It's pretty embarassing to our profession that a flasgship site such as core77 has such a casual attitude towards responsible reporting.
