Washington Shoe Company, established in Seattle in 1891, is a fast growing rain boot producer creating products sold in all levels of retail. Today Washington Shoe Company produces a premium brand of rainwear including boots, raincoats and umbrellas, and they are looking for a motivated Designer/Surface Pattern Designer with a great attitude and a strong work ethic to be a part of their product design & development team! You won't just be creating fashion-based surface pattern designs to be applied to footwear product, you'll be required to do some footwear design as well, so you'll need to utilize product briefs to create concepts.

You'll make a splash if you can create SMU (Special Make-Up) colors, styles and patterns for footwear as well as execute seasonal footwear and accessories color CADs. To do this you'll need to be able to research seasonal style and color trends and communicate these to the product development team via the creation of trend boards, sample specification sheets/tech packs, samples, etc. If you enjoy and are capable of working in a fast paced work environment, have a strong sense of trend and fashion and are skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, then Apply Today!
