Remember Franky Zapata's Flyboard, which turned him into a sort of aquatic Iron Man? Now there's a company making what they call the Jetovator, which similarly uses water propulsion, but this time wrapped in a more motorcycle-like form factor that they claim is very easy to ride. Check it out:
Looks pretty wicked, no? There is, however, a limitation to both the Jetovator and Zapata's Flyboard that you generally don't see highlighted in press coverage or in their awesome videos: Both systems lack their own power source and must be tethered (via that big-ass hose) to a nearby jet ski with its own operator whose job it is to keep the throttle open. It's still cool as heck, but just means you and a buddy will have to take turns."Dude, just ten more minutes"
