Graphic designer Cayla Ferari and engineer John Breznicky were looking for NYC-transit-based art to decorate their Brooklyn apartment with, but couldn't find anything they liked on the market. So they made their own. Visiting friends liked them so much, the duo started their own company called Lineposter and now sells two-tone maps of more cities than you can shake a Metrocard at, in both prints and T-shirts.
