Stationed out in Ft. Worth, Tx in the 1980's while General Dynamics was building the F-16C model the workforce was on strike, GD put the bean counters from accounting and other management people down on the assembly line doing sheetmetal riveting etc...a year or so later the C model was involved in many fatal accidents to the extent the air force grounded it.
