Miles of style
Cavalier Essentials is a line of vintage men's products described thusly: "If Steve McQueen carried a beat-up leather duffle bag on the back of his motorcycle, what would be in it and how would the products look?"
The resultant campaign, masterminded by art director Taylor Pemberton and shot by Collin Hughes, is pretty drool-worthy:
(Only one I don't get is the compass. Steve like drawing circles a lot?)

This is every hyper-blogged emerging trend over the past 3 years distilled into an over branded box lacking true identity.
Core77 should maintain it's focus on the movers, shakers and technology. Leave the hipster brand whoring to the likes of NotCot - it seems more permissible there.

Since I practice what I preach, here's some constructive criticism for your comment:
- "Ridiculous...." improper use of ellipsis, tsk tsk.
- I don't know about you, but packaging "cool" would be pretty goddamn awesome.
- Quite a grumpy tone there.
- "Thats original." That's a terribly punctuated sentence.
Another attempt at packaging 'coolness' for profit.
Make your own 'beat-up leather duffle bag' and put your own items in it.
Thats original.
