Study O Portable's contribution is completely striking. They repeatedly dipped geometric shapes in brightly coloured resins to build up layers of material that becomes spherical on the exterior with internal voids of dodecahedrons and pyramids.
Peter Marigold's sequence of terracotta forms (Dug and Stuff) express a growing void that was created by progressively excavating a wooden former, resulting in a display of artefacts that are distinctly archaeological in their presentation.
Max Lamb cuts and re-cuts plates of metal into concentric shapes creating many objects from the voids of the first.
Other contributors include Paul Elliman, Gemma Holt and Hiroko Shiratori.
