As part of his prize, Alwin will now embark on a six-month paid internship at one of Electrolux's global design centers. Congratulations Alwin!
Huh, I can't imagine cooking something in a pot with one of those sticking on the side - the potential for uneven cooking and spills coming off the side splatting all over the device is too great.
Given that almost all pots and pans are designed to heat from the flat surface below, wouldn't it necessitate a redesign of all pots and pans to fit that heater? Yay for pseudo-physics.
Wow, these ideas are genius! But if only they'd worked on something we really need like the flying car, strap-on rocket belt, or the cures-every-disease-known-to-man wristwatch powered by magic moon-beam technology.
