Project H founder Emily Pilloton says, "The road show was quite an adventure. We want the spirit of it and its content to live on!" While on the road, Emily and her partner Matt Miller (who is the owner of the Airstream) visited 36 cities, design schools, and high schools, and ended the adventure at ICFF in New York earlier this month. Over the course of 75 days, 25,000 people set foot in the trailer to experience the exhibition of humanitarian product design. They even had celebrity cameos from David Byrne, Third Eye Blind frontman Stephen Jenkins, and design heroes like architect Jeanne Gang, Martin Fisher, and more!
From the Design Revolution Road Show website: "The programming will bring the evidence of and tools for design for social impact to the doorsteps of students, with the ultimate goal of enabling and empowering the next generation of creative problem-solvers to apply their skills to the world's most pressing problems and improve life on a global scale."
Contact Matt Miller, project manager for Project H and the Design Revolution Road Show at matt (at) projecthdesign (dot) org for questions about the trailer.
