  I own a ZCorp 3d printer and I am about to try out Shapeways broad materials offering. Shapeways either has a number of different 3D machines or deals with a number of 3D RP contractors who use the various materials offered by Shapeways.

  I've used Shapeways several times now. The concept is great: upload a STL file, and they can get it to you in 15 or so days. Its relatively cheap and they have an ever expanding list of materials including metal and glass.
  
  They only negative I can think of is that they seem to be getting popular and an occasional lap in turnaround or shipping(wrong item) does happen. However they're friendly and problems are usually solved very quickly.

  We should have a core77 contest to make something and the prize could be the 3D model from shapeways.
