Another concept clock: Oren Hetzroni, a student at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, sent us his take on the clock, encapsulated in a jar. The idea was inspired by childhood memories of trapping insects inside a jar, except in this case the captive is time. The hands, hung vertically, move around the circumference of the glass vessel, which is marked with the hours.
This project does a couple of things that we like: it requires a tactile interaction in order to be read (bringing us out of our precious 2D information space) and can live equally well among ingredients in a pantry, books on a shelf or in the middle of a table.
A couple more after the jump.
