Linda Schailon's encapsulated her childhood fantasy—leading a charmed life as a bejewelled princess wandering around a hedge garden—into a single garment made of garden wire, yogurt cups and green grass. This ballgown, entitled the Sprinkle Dress, is one that you have to water, and, like any well-disciplined princess, you shouldn't expect to be able to sit down in it. We're not sure that this dress "brings nature to oneself," as Schailon hopes, but it's definitely got a nice touch of theatricality and humor, one that we won't be surprised to see showing up on the red carpet in some version or another in the next year or two.
