This Just Inbox: Femke DeVries Unstated Statements 02
Unstated Statements 02 is the second part of a project by fashion and jewelry designer Femke De Vries to make ambiguous statements with clothing used most commonly as a platform for expression. Unstated Statements 01 is a series of t-shirts with holes cut out of them, and 02 (pictured here) fills plastic name tag holders with a sheet of gold or silver instead of a tag.
Though one could argue these statements are the opposite of "unstated", we do like the mix of texture, blankness and banality expressed in these projects.
The pins will be available at Design Miami at the Nektar De Stagni temporary Jewelry Salon between December 2nd and 5th.
