We were extremely excited to get a sneak peek at kitchenware company Joseph Joseph's new line of products, which are coming out this autumn but not yet on their website. (Those of you lucky enough to have attended the Exclusively Housewares show in London may have caught a glimpse.) The new line maintains Joseph Joseph's space-saving forms while still expressing their thoughtful, added-function takes on commonly-used utensils.
The Uni-tool is like a Spork for chefs, without the cheesy connotation and with a couple of extra functions. The spoon bowl is both slotted and solid, and the device can also be used as a spatula, a turner, and is has a cutting edge.
The Catcher citrus juicer features a flexible soft-touch rubber collar that collects unwanted pips and pulp.
The dual chamber 2-in-1 Measuring jug has discrete areas for both fine measurements and bulk, tackling gradations from micro (5 mL) up to macro (20 oz).
The Scoop Colander lets you drain and scoop food straight from the pan or out of the oven.
Last but not least is the Slice & Store compact chopping board, which integrates a knife made from Japanese stainless steel.
There's no firm release date announced yet, so keep your eyes peeled.
