I thought I had seen every possible object that could incorporate a carabiner, but once again I've underestimated the EDC market. Nestout, a Japanese manufacturer of ruggedized power banks designed for the outdoors, has released this Carabiner Battery.
"Designed to withstand the elements, it features IP44 water and dust resistance and a shock-absorbing silicone cushion, protecting it from unexpected drops and light rain. Its integrated metal carabiner clip allows you to conveniently attach it to your backpack or belt, ensuring you're hands-free and mobile."
The 5000mAh battery weighs 6.4 oz and runs $45.

If damage is a concern, a cheap $2 plastic case is fine if you put it in your pocket or backpack instead of hanging it outside. All this engineering seems to have made the battery at least twice a bulky as it needs to be.
I was hoping for some sort of regenerative feature built into that over-designed clip apparatus to make up for equipping the battery where its at perpetual risk of weather and impact damage.
