I was watching a video of Toyota's manufacturing plants in Japan, and I saw a worker wearing this green thing:
It's a protective facemask, and it flips all the way back, 180 degrees. As someone who wears a flip-up full face mask regularly (for farm stuff), I can instantly see how much better this design is. The one I have merely flips up, 90 degrees, and then projects like an unwieldy visor. I can't tell you how many times it then slams into stuff as you're moving around, and it's jarring every time.
In short, this flip-back design is brilliant.
I was unable to find anything like it on the market here, though I did find that there are "flip-back" motorcycle helmets, where the visor and chinguard can flip back to render the helmet open-face.
If any readers out there with Japanese-language search skills are able to learn what model the Toyota employee is wearing, please drop a line in the comments!

Not quite 180° but more than 90°: https://media.kleintools.io/images/original/klein/60472_callout1.jpg
