Here's an impressive piece of design and engineering. Dutch company Expandable's Touchdown Trailer can be transported to site by a tractor-trailer. Once onsite, built-in legs extend downwards to take the weight of the trailer, allowing the tractor-trailer to take off. The axles then slide out from underneath the trailer, and the legs can then lower the trailer to the ground. The sides can expand outwards to create more space.
This is a far more convenient arrangement than transporting a trailer to site, and having to hire a crane to pull it off of a flatbed. The trailers come in multiple sizes, and the company says just one person can set them up in 15 minutes.

That thing would be amazing at taking the place of a Mobile Mini on Construction sites. Too bad it's too expensive, I'm sure. Maybe the biggest companies like Kiewit or Sacyr would have them...
